Continuing its mission to strengthen foundational literacy and evidence-based instruction, a teacher training seminar titled “Science of Learning and Science of Reading: Brains and Books – Connecting How We Learn to How We Read” was conducted on July 12, 2025. The session was facilitated by Ms. Rizalina Labanda and was attended by a dedicated group of educators from various schools.

The training explored the intersection between cognitive science and reading instruction, emphasizing how understanding brain processes can inform effective teaching practices. Ms. Labanda guided participants through key principles of the Science of Learning and the Science of Reading, highlighting their relevance to early literacy development and classroom application.
